Do I need GIS or CAD experience?
No. Scribble Maps is designed for project teams. If you can use Google Maps you can use it. Subcontractors and owners open shared links in a browser with no install.
Can I import existing site plans?
Yes. Import KML, Shapefile, GeoJSON, GPX, DXF or CSV files. You can also overlay floor plans or historical aerial imagery as image layers.
How do I share a site map with my team?
Click Share, choose view-only or edit access, and send the link. No account is required to view a shared map.
What does it cost?
Free to start. Paid options add private maps, larger uploads, custom branding and admin controls. See the pricing page for details.
Can I see traffic volumes near a work zone?
Yes. Turn on Traffic Intelligence and click the roads around your site to see daily traffic, peak hour, and hourly volume. Use it to plan lane closures and deliveries around the busy hours. Available on Pro Business for US roads.
Can I check a site's slope, soils and drainage before I bid?
Yes. The Site Analysis kit draws contours and slope, works out cut and fill, rates the soils for foundations, septic fields and roads, maps drainage and storm runoff, and outlines the buildable area. It uses 1 m lidar across most of the US. It is part of Pro Business, and every account gets 3 free analyses. Results are estimates, not a survey.
