Where Traditional Meets Modern
This tour will take you around one of the newest parts of Belgrade – Belgrade on water. Walking down the riverside and Danube quay you will see and feel how modern architecture and contemporary landscapes fit into Belgrade’s past and its culture today. Moving from the Tower of Belgrade to Branko’s bridge, we are visiting a turning point in which modern meets traditional. The bridge served as one of the main trade points in the Roman period, and connected Central with Southern Europe. Participants will also have a chance to visit Beton Hala, a neoteric bohemian part of the city that serves as a main point of Serbian nightlife. Continuing our route to the traditional cobblestones, which will take you around one of the oldest parts of Belgrade - Kosančićev venac. Walking down the cobblestone streets of this part of Belgrade you will see and feel it's remarkable history and spirit.
