Bethany Hamilton was a thirteen year old girl that was attacked by a fourteen foot tiger shark while surfing off the coast of Kauai. Despite the girl being so far from a hospital at the time, the doctors perceived that her composure may have saved her life. She did not even scream when the shark bit her entire arm off. She learns how to surf without her other arm and uses this experience to inspire others. The map I have created is the story of her journey.
