Martyrs of the future - Budapest

In ‘Martyrs of the Future’ Brückner János creates and installs at the entranceof the FKSE portraits of contemporary Hungarian artists in a manner similar tothe porcelain portraits installed on the walls of The House of Terror Museum.Unlike the images shown at the Museum these Instagram images are amemento of the present. They call into attention the state of Hungarian artistsand their work in our days in light of the current political and social situation.Their ironic, yet iconic nature, prompts awareness to the possible danger inthe marginalization and oppression of critical contemporary art and culture.
