France grows its colonies in Africa and the Americas which provides them wealth through the resorces and slaves. England finally succedes in uniting the northern nations and islands in the Atlantic which provides them with the ability to tax all ships going to the new world. Spain increasesits military presence in Lower Spain after the expansion of Portugal and Islamic Revolts. The Ottoman and Mamluk empires engage in a war to the death because neither is willing to give up until it has to. The Ottoman Empire creates a treaty with Spain and the Holy Roman Empire while the Mamluk Empire creates one with France and Portugal. These treaties make the first proxy wars.
