This is a GIS map of Richmond, UK. I showed the places that could get flooded. The month with the most rain is in October. The month with the least amount of rain is in March. During October it gets windy. The wind can cause the spread of the flood. Some parts of Richmond are prone to flooding. These places are near bodies of water such as, Cranes, Beverley Brook and Thames. Above sea level, Richmond is about 21 meters. The minimum being 3 meters and the maximum being 74 meters. This makes Richmond prone to flooding. The drainage system will not be very good because if the water goes out, it will have to go into the River of Thames. The river will over flow and eventually flood. The human features will get affected because of the physical features. Richmond has flooded before because of heavy rain and high tides. If they keep small dams in the most likely to flood areas, Richmond will be less prone to getting flooded.
