Draft BMSP Extension (NY)

Proposed Idea to extend the Bear Mountain State Parkway to connect both ends of the parkway. Specifically, instead of merging with Route 202/35, the Western Segment would stay eastbound and parallel to the Routes with a main intersection with Lexington Avenue before meeting its Eastern Segment. There, it will have an extra exit for the Taconic State Parkway Northbound, as well as an extra lane moving Southbound to give an "Exit Only" Lane for Route 202/35 to help with traffic. Lastly, there would be a lane merge opportunity from Route 202/35's Exit Lane to TSP Northbound that allows people to instead choose to go on the BMSP instead.
