Had Wilhelm not focused on crossing the Maginot, it is very probable that France wouldn't mobilise. This would cause Russia to fall first with unrest due to massive pressures on its front with Germany/Austria-Hungary. France, hesitant to mobilise, would only do so by the surrender of the Russians. The UK would probably join later due to a building power struggle with Germany. However, with no invasion of Belgium, British morale would be low.
