Today, the Panama Canal is a really good and easy way to transfer things from a place to another, But it was really difficult to build. Back in the 1500's, the Spanish decided to try to build it in the Isthmus of Panama because they wanted to find a way to transfer things from one place to another , but they did not, because they didn't have the necessary supplies so they deemed it impossible. Time passed and the French roamed in, they also wanted to attempt to build the Panama Canal because they are big on trading supplies.
